Kamikaze Comedy

Kamikaze Comedy Logo

Kamikaze Comedy is an opportunity for comedians of all skill and experience levels to “take the leap” and try telling their jokes through a microphone to a live audience.

The jokes start flying at 7:30p on the 1st and 3rd (and 5th when possible) Tuesday of every month at the Grand Traverse Distillery Tasting Room. This is a FREE open mic and is hosted by Matthew Zerilli (with the occasional special guest)

Registration is announced the last week of each month for the following month. Submit requests to kamikazecomedytc@gmail.com, time is not guaranteed.

Good on Paper

Good on Paper

The Traverse City area’s ONLY professional improv comedy troupe, creating comedy scenes based entirely from audience suggestions. Highly energetic, completely interactive.

“Good on Paper” Improv was assembled in 2010 by a group of performers looking to bring “Big City” improvised comedy to the Traverse City area. The show it put together is like the show-off younger sibling of Second City, ImprovOlympic, and The Groundlings. Good on Paper creates improvised comedy experiences for groups of any size all based on audience suggestions. No two shows are ever the same.
